Our newer models of trucks will also have APUs (Auxiliary Power Units) on them which act like a mini generator and run the bunk heaters as well as the Air Conditioning in the units. We therefore can save fuel and lower our carbon footprint, as we can power only the bunk sleeping unit versus the entire truck.
